ATTENTION ALL RESIDENTS
The association is changing its trash collection company, and your trash can will be replaced with a new one. Local Waste will need to retrieve all their trash receptacles from your unit. You must follow the guidelines listed below, or you may incur a fee. TRASH CAN REPLACEMENT After trash pickup on the 26th of December, you are required to leave all trash cans at the curb.
NEW TRASH DAY TRASH Cab will begin pick up on FRIDAY - January 5, 2024. Your new Trash Day is FRIDAY. Collections will begin at 7:00AM and will be completed by the end of the day, for both refuse and recyclables. As a reminder, your trash bin is the property of Local Waste and must be returned to them. It is the responsibility of the Customer and its residents to place only recyclable materials in the recycling receptacles deemed permissible by the Company. Company will not collect any recyclables that have been placed in bags or containers other than those provided by Company, with the exception of larger cardboard boxes that have been broken down and flattened. Likewise, if Company determines, in its sole judgment, that non-recyclable materials have been placed in a recycle bin, Company shall have the option to either dispose of the recycle bag and all of its contents with non-recyclable Waste, or Company may choose to not take the non conforming recycle bag at all. The following materials are acceptable for recycle: A. Paper: Newspaper, cardboard, newspaper inserts, magazines, catalogues, junk mail, envelopes (with or without windows), computer paper, brown paper bags, Paperboard (i.e. cereal boxes), and telephone books. B. Plastic Bottles #1-2: All plastic bottles #1-2, such as milk jugs, soft drink, laundry detergent and shampoo bottles. Customer must remove caps and rinse bottles. Plastics other than bottles are not acceptable. No wide mouth containers or buckets. C. Glass: Clear, brown, green, and blue glass food and drink bottles, containers, and jars. D. Aluminum & Steel Cans: Aluminum and steel beverage, soup, and food cans, empty aerosol cans, and aluminum siding and gutters. NON-ALLOWABLE RECYCLE MATERIALS. The following materials are not to be placed in any recycling bins: • Plastic Bags of any kind • Oil jugs • Plastic jugs and plastics other than bottles • Wide mouth containers and buckets, • Windows • Drinking glasses • Pots and pans • Coat hangers • Tissues • Paint cans
